JE1BMJ 2013-07-27 0238 UTC - WAV audio
This is a recording from the U.S. side of JE1BMJ (50091.0) on 27 July 2013. (There is also a recording from the Japan side available. KA1R was running 100 watts at this time.) Both recordings include the KA1R location sent during the exchange, although it is much easier to copy from the U.S. side. This is not an example of a U.S. east coast opening to Japan. The KA1R home location is FN42, and only a contact from FN42 (or within 200 km) would meet the VUCC requirements for the JE1BMJ grid of QM05. See the KA1R VUCC page for other information.
